What
can you do?
PEGBOARD
The old standby used for
years. Made of a composition
material very susceptible
to moisture damage and
temperature change. Always
a constant battle with
hooks falling off or getting
lost and very hard on the
eyes.
WOOD SHELVING
Although adequate at the
time of installation this
system is not able to keep
up with changing storage
needs. It is not modular.
Wood shelving requires
on-going painting and maintenance
and can be expensive if
professionally installed
or, at best, a tedious
project for the do-it-yourselfer.
PLASTIC CABINETS
Also not a modular system.
Plastic or vinyl cabinets
can succumb to the harsh
environment of the typical
garage, especially temperature
extremes. Plastic cabinets
do not maximize the full
potential of existing wall
space and are difficult
to clean underneath. |
